My name is Bob Milliken. I am the president and CEO of 179 Seacoast Power Equipment in North Hampton, New Hampshire; the largest consumer-driven retail outdoor power equipment dealership in northern New England. (www.seacoastpower.com.)
 
I purchased the former Philbrick’s Sales and Service in early 2009 with the idea of transferring my consumer knowledge and experience along with my professional and entrepreneurial skills to best serve the power equipment needs of New England area consumer and commercial customers. Building on a great business legacy, I rebranded the company and brought it into the 21st century with a fresh new look, a renewed commitment to service, expanded equipment and parts inventories, value pricing, and a customer-centered, team approach that ensures our customers will have the best experience possible every time they visit us. Business results have been impressively positive to date. 
 
My success as president and CEO of 179 Seacoast Power Equipment is built on my extensive experience as a senior management executive with a proven track record in driving revenues, growth, profitability, and operational performance. I graduated from Saint Mary's College of California with a Master of Business Administration in Finance in June 1992. 
 
As an executive, I led five major separate companies or public divisions in diverse industries ranging from startup to $2 billion in sales, and managed all functional areas, alliances, partnerships, and mergers/acquisitions. I was directly accountable for P&L performance with a focus on cash profit, ROI, and increasing shareholder/owner value, and built, organized, and empowered teams of more than 8,500 employees. Additionally, I took the lead in driving sales and marketing initiatives through nationwide and global sales teams, and have interfaced directly with numerous boards of directors and the financial community.
 
Most significantly, throughout my career I have considered it my mandate to not only manage activities, but to also conduct incisive analyses of companies and business units to identify financial, operational, market, and customer opportunities, and to develop strategies and follow-through with action plans that achieve results. I have solid business instincts, and my ability to establish motivated teams with a positive, “can-do” attitude has been instrumental in delivering those results.
